To experience the happy glow of celebrating change, join us at Raith Gourmet High Constantia on the 28th May 2015 for the launch of our new dinner service and website with a fun fondue night.
From 4pm until 8pm we will be hosting a media event and would love our loyal patrons to join us in celebrating this wonderful change. There will be a complimentary welcome glass of wine sourced from a local vineyard for all who attend, as well as tasters from our new menu for you to try.
The fondue night will be loads of fun for all, with lots of new tantalizing tastes to experience. Whether you are part of the furniture or a first time visitor, Raith Gourmet High Constantia welcomes you to explore our new dinner service option, so sit back and relax while we serve you some fine German cuisine from our new and extremely talented chef Clara.
Our chefs, Chris and Clara, are greatly knowledgeable and allow only the usual high standard food leaving their kitchens. Chris’s chef training took place in Austria, and from there he went from strength to strength in the restaurant industry. With Clara’s experience the two have put together an amazing and genuine European inspired menu. Raith Gourmet dinner service is set to be as impressive as their other endeavours.
There will be a selection of great local wines to choose from, as Raith Gourmet does already boast an impressive wine list, to enjoy with your dinner. There are many mains to choose from for a good nights eating, such as real German specialties like Mettenden (gently smoked pork sausage) which is served on hot Sauerkraut and Spätzle. Of course, the Chicken or Pork Schnitzel, served with salad greens, either bratkartoffeln or chips and cranberry jelly is a go to for those wanting real traditional German fare.
Don’t forget our great gourmet burgers and sandwiches, as well as light meals for those of you who don’t feel like a large meal. There are many options available for a good winter’s dinner, like soups and pie and even smaller platters for sharing.
